Welcome to Cumberland County Community Church
Thanks for coming to our web site. We have tried to make our site attractive and easy to navigate. We are a nondenominational church that is Christ centered. We believe the Bible is God’s word and that Jesus is the saviour. We offer many programs but only one saviour. Our church is a family of people who are attempting to live out our faith. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Often a person that plans to visit has questions. Some of them may be answered below.
What should I wear if I come to a service?
Most folks who come to our fellowship dress in casual clothing, though you will see everything from jeans to an occasional suit.
What translation of the Bible do you use?
On Sunday mornings we use the New International Version. However some of our folks prefer the King James and others the New American Standard. The major scriptures used on Sunday will also be projected on a screen.
Is child care provided?
In our 9:00-10:15 service we have nursery available. As this service continues to grow other options for older children will become available.
In our 10:45-12:00 AM Service we have childcare as well as a children’s program for up to sixth grade. Older children are in the service for the worship time.
What are your services like?
We have an informal style of worship through hymns and contemporary worship songs. The preaching is straight forward and clear.
Do you have any children’s programs?
For ages 2 through 6th grade we have an Awana program on Wednesday nights from 6:15 to 8 PM.
On Sunday Night we have our junior high/senior high program “Souled Out“.
What do you have for young adults?
Every Friday night at 7 PM The Ascent College and Career group meets. This group has its own worship team. Each Friday a Biblical lesson is given with the group interacting with the leader. Refreshments follow.
